Meet the band

Logan

Lead Vocals / Banjo

The brains and the voice behind this project, Logan has a long history with, and love for 90s country music. Growing up with a shoebox full of cassette tapes and a few live radio stations in southern Illinois and Indiana, 90s country became the soundtrack of his youth.

Shortly after college, his voice was discovered by a local musician and he was recruited to take over lead vocals for a popular party band in Green Bay Wisconsin. The joy of live performing was overwhelming and he went on to master the banjo and perform around Wisconsin for the next three years until a career change put the music on hold.

After a 15-year hiatus focusing on family and work priorities, the opportunity to renew his love for performing has arrived. This time it was Logan recruiting the talented musicians below to bring his vision to life.

Logan's vocal tone has been described as a mix between Kix Brooks and Aaron Tippin but with the range to sing the lows of Randy Travis and the high notes of Vince Gill.

Jeff

Harmonies / Cigar Box Guitar

A country music renegade laying down boundary-blurring vocal harmonies blending country grit with Southern Rock swagger - he storms it.  As a Cigar Box Guitar luthier and specialist, Jeff brings the south to Minnesota and the heat to the stage every time he plays.

Nick

Harmonies / Rhythm Guitar / Harmonica

A local music legend, Nick has been touring with his band, The MetroGnomes, for 15 years as well as providing popular solo performances throughout the area. For Hoot Scoot & Boogie, Nick is lending his trademark driving rhythm guitar and expert harmonies to make these classics come alive.

Chris

Lead Guitar

One thing you will notice at every Hoot Scoot & Boogie show is the pulsating energy of the music. Chris brings a rock-guitar tone to the band while honoring the country licks and sound of the original artists. This is where the live arrangement starts to take on a life of its own.

Erin

Bass Guitar / Upright Bass

Originally an upright bass player, Erin learned to play the electric bass purely for the opportunity to join us in this vision. Look for her to switch it up between the thumpin electric bass and "Larry", the well-loved rockabilly upright that started her love for rhythm.

Gary

Drums

Drumming for over 20 years, Gary was discovered at a local musicians Open Jam waiting for his opportunity to blow us all away with the tightest fills and heaviest beats.  Focused previously on rock and blues, Gary rediscovered the joy and nostalgia of the country music he loves when he joined Hoot Scoot & Boogie in 2025.

Milo

Fiddle

After three years of orchestral violin, Milo recently took the leap into country fiddle. An absolute natural at the instrument, Milo is bringing the haunting fiddle fills that defined some of the best country bands of the 90s.
